Half Empty or Half Full?

This is often the question asked to determine if you are an optimist or a pessimist.

I have had several seasons of my life where I could call myself one or the other. Let's be serious, sometimes I have several moments in the day where I shift from an optimist to a pessimist in the "ding" of an email. (You can admit it too, it happens to everyone)

The older, I mean wiser, I become the more I have realized the power of mind over matter... and I've come to realize what really matters in life. I'm going to use the "gift of gab" that my mother has given me and let the gift of discernment God has given me to lead us on a journey through the sour and the sweet that life's lemons hand over.

  1. It is never half full or half empty. It is always full. You may dee a glass of water only filled halfway with liquid but the other half is also full of air. Take tje same example amf apply it towards life. . Sometimes people feel they are not whole when they are alone. But what they ogten dont see is the massive amount of love from their family, friends and even their pets. People tend to have tunnel vission and focus on the sad issue instead of focusing on some positive ones. God both loves and protects us but he also teaches is by our everyday trials.
